Hey there, I'm LeeAnn Mills,
I’m a Physical Therapist Assistant, nervous system educator, and movement guide. For over 15 years, I’ve worked with every kind of human — from high-level athletes to stroke survivors — and I’ve seen firsthand what actually helps people feel strong, steady, and capable again.
I’m also a fire wife, which means I understand what sustained operational stress does to the body — and how hard it is to truly downshift after a shift. This work isn’t theoretical for me. I see it up close.
It’s never about pushing harder.
It’s about understanding your body, moving in ways your system can actually handle, and recovering before you burn out.
That’s the lens behind everything I teach now — simple, steady movement, nervous-system-informed recovery, and practical tools that hold up in real life.
This is why I started Alpenglow Wellness: to give people real tools to feel strong in their bodies again, without extremes or pressure.
What Guides My Work:
A Nervous System Lens
I teach movement and recovery in a way that respects what your system can handle. When your body and energy are aligned, performance feels steadier and more sustainable.
Simple, Sustainable Strength
Years of teaching — and years of real time under tension — have taught me that strength comes from consistency, not extremes. I focus on movement that feels doable, supportive, and effective.
The Pace of Real Life
Living between Tahoe and Greece shaped how I think about wellness: slower, steadier, and grounded in what your body actually needs day-to-day. Recovery has to fit into real life — not compete with it.
If you want to feel strong without running on fumes, this is the work.
