Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
1. What exactly do you do?
I help active humans regulate, recover, and reconnect to their strength — on trails, mats, and in everyday life.
Through in-person workshops and restorative retreats, I teach tools that support steadiness, mobility, breath, recovery, and real-life resilience.
My approach blends breathwork, nervous-system education, mobility, and mindful movement — helping you feel grounded, capable, and connected without the pressure to perform.
2. Do I have to be injured to work with you?
Not at all. While I do support people recovering from injuries or surgery, I also work with anyone who wants to:
• move better
• prevent injuries
• feel less overwhelmed
• reconnect to their body after stress, burnout, or busy seasons
Whether you want steadier energy, more mobility, or a calmer nervous system, you belong here.
3. Is this physical therapy?
No — I don’t diagnose injuries or provide physical therapy services.
I’m a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), Chopra Wellness Coach, and Yoga Teacher, and I use that background to blend movement, breath, and nervous system science into a holistic, personalized approach.
If I believe you need specialized medical care, I’ll always refer you to the right provider.
4. What kinds of clients do you work with?
I work with:
🟩 Outdoor and adventure humans building strength and mobility for real life
🟩 People recovering from injury, burnout, stress, or chronic tension
🟩 Anyone who feels “stuck,” overwhelmed, or disconnected from their body
🟩 Those wanting a grounded, nervous-system-friendly approach to movement and recovery
🟩 Humans who want to move, breathe, and live with more steadiness
5. How do I know if I need nervous system support?
If you often feel wired, fatigued, stiff, scattered, overwhelmed, or unable to fully recover, your nervous system may be in a heightened or depleted state.
Common signs:
• chronic tightness or pain
• low energy or disrupted sleep
• feeling “on edge”
• trouble recovering from movement or stress
• difficulty slowing down or resting
My work helps you reset your system so you can move, rest, and live with more ease.
6. What’s your training style?
I focus on sustainable, body-led movement — learning how to listen to your system instead of pushing through it.
Sessions may include:
🧘♀️ yoga, mobility, and breathwork for regulation
🏔 movement re-education for strength and stability
🌿 recovery practices + pacing strategies
💬 nervous system coaching for everyday balance
Whether we’re outdoors, on a mat, or on Zoom, the approach is always grounded, supportive, and practical.
7. Do you offer virtual coaching?
Occasionally.
When I offer one-on-one support, sessions can take place virtually. These are not ongoing coaching packages, but short-term, focused sessions designed to support movement, breath, and nervous-system regulation in real life.
Availability is limited and changes throughout the year. If virtual support feels like it might be helpful for you, you’re welcome to reach out and ask..
8. What should I expect in a session?
Every offering follows my core rhythm — Move. Recover. Thrive.™
You’ll learn how to:
• move with more awareness
• regulate your nervous system
• build rhythms that support your real life
• reconnect to your body’s natural capacity
Whether in a workshop, or a retreat, you can expect:
• accessible education
• breath and movement that meet you where you are
• tools for steadier focus and energy
• space for reflection, recovery, and real connection
9. Can I work with you 1:1?
Sometimes.
I offer a very limited number of private sessions for people who are already engaged with the work and feel they would benefit from individualized support or integration.
These sessions are not a standing offer and aren’t always available. When they are, they’re focused on movement, breath, and nervous-system regulation — not quick fixes or long-term coaching packages.
If you’re curious whether this kind of support might be appropriate, you’re welcome to reach out and start a conversation..
