Program Overview

This 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training is grounded in functional anatomy, breath physiology, and nervous system education. The focus is not on memorizing poses or chasing peak shapes, but on understanding how and why bodies move the way they do.

Participants who wish to teach will gain a strong educational foundation for teaching yoga more safely. Others may take this training purely for their own learning and personal practice. Teaching is not the only measure of success here.

Facilitated by

LeeAnn Mills
Founder & Lead Facilitator, Alpenglow Institute of Yoga & Movement
Physical Therapist Assistant | E-RYT 500

LeeAnn brings over 15 years of experience working with bodies in both clinical and movement-based settings. Her background in physical therapy, anatomy, and nervous system education informs an approach to yoga that prioritizes safety, clarity, and real-world application.

This training reflects her work with active populations, healthcare providers, and individuals seeking a deeper understanding of how the body responds to load, stress, and recovery. The emphasis is on education — not performance — and on teaching within appropriate scope.

Why This Training Exists

Over years of working with bodies, I noticed the same pattern: people often work hard in their practice without fully understanding what their body is asking for.

This training was created to slow things down and build understanding — of how the body moves, how breath influences effort, and how stress and load shape our experience in practice.

This program is not appropriate for individuals looking to diagnose injuries, treat medical conditions, or practice outside their professional scope.

All missed hours must be made up in order to graduate.
